Play within your means
Poker should cost you what you decided it would cost you, and nothing more.
Tools in your account
- Deposit limit. A daily ceiling on what you can add. Lowering it applies at once; raising it takes 24 hours, so it cannot be changed in the moment.
- Session limit. A reminder and a forced break after a number of minutes you choose.
- Self-exclusion. Closes your account to play immediately. Your balance remains withdrawable. Reinstatement is not automatic and is never same-day.
Signs worth taking seriously
- Playing for longer than you meant to, repeatedly.
- Depositing again after deciding you were done for the day.
- Chasing a loss with stakes above your normal game.
- Hiding how much you play, or how much you are down, from people close to you.
- Borrowing to play.
